He leads a skilled biotechnology management team and has developed the operation into the most advanced grain biorefinery in Europe, with substantial investment from its Irish parent company. ClonBio Group Limited and associated Turley family companies invest in new biotechnologies in partnership with inventors and entrepreneurs, supporting laboratory-proven concepts with the engineering expertise to bring them to commercial scale.

The ClonBio family

Pannonia Bio Zrt., situated in Dunaföldvár, Hungary, has become the world's most advanced grain biorefinery. Focused on sustainability and cutting-edge technology, Pannonia Bio has pioneered methods that optimize grain value while minimizing environmental impact and maximizing energy efficiency.

In 2022, Aztalan Bio LLC joined the Group as the largest ethanol plant in Wisconsin, with an annual capacity of 110 million gallons. This strategic acquisition aims to replicate the success of its sister company in Europe, leveraging Aztalan Bio's leading position and advanced bioprocessing capabilities.

Renix is an award-winning ion exchange tech company based in London, Canada – the agricultural and industrial heartland of Southwestern Ontario. With a culture built on teamwork, hard work, mutual support and respect, the Renix team is passionate about providing sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

Green Generation is Ireland's largest biomethane market player, using anaerobic digestion to convert agricultural and food waste to renewable energy. They combine decades of agricultural expertise, with leading experts in microbiology, anaerobic digestion, and renewable energy, to turn this problem into an opportunity.

In Slovenia, Pannonia Bio Gas is the country's largest biogas producerand also the largest advanced biomethaneproducer. Pannonia Bio Gas d.o.o, is owned by Pannonia Bio Zrt.

Pannonia Green is the newest addition to the family. This project consists of building six biogas facilities across Serbia, making it Serbia's largest biogas market player. This opportunity further supports the Group's mission to increase its green energy generated from renewable biomass.
